Sculptural Weavings

These pieces are all woven from a single Bungalow Palm Infloresence. Each is forged and dried ready for the weaving preparation process. 

Each piece is then soaked and once the piece is soft, it's ready for weaving.

This is a deeply meditative process where I call in the ancestors and let my fingers create as I am called. 

Once the pieces have dried again they will remain intact for years to come. 

None have fixative or vanish of any kind. All are indoor or under cover sculptures.
